Victoria Owenius

Victoria Owenius was born in Östhammar, Sweden, and moved to Portland, Oregon, in 2001. Her academic training includes a B.A. in History and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Lewis & Clark College in Portland. While at Lewis & Clark College she researched and wrote an honors thesis about the Swedish American newspaper Oregon Posten. In 2008 she coauthored the book Swedish Oregon. She is active in the Swedish American community in Oregon and is currently teaching at the Swedish School in Portland.
