Alan Armstrong

Alan Armstrong (Ph.D., Cornell University) directed the Center for Shakespeare Studies at Southern Oregon University for two decades. Co-author of Oregon Shakespeare Festival Actors: Telling the Story (2014), he writes about original staging practices as well as contemporary performance. Since 2006, he has served as a production dramaturg for the Oregon Shakespeare Festival.
