Carol Ventgen

Carol Ventgen has been library director at Coos Bay Public Library since 1975. She was previously head of adult services for the Jackson County Library System and coordinator of the Southern Oregon Library Federation. She has B.A. and M.L.S. degrees from the University of Oregon. Ventgen is past president of the Oregon Library Association and former board member of Pacific Northwest Library Association and American Library Association. Her community involvement includes board membership for Coos County Community Concert Association, Coos County Cultural Coalition, and League of Women Voters, plus active participation in Zonta Club of the Coos Bay Area.
