Prudence Roberts

Prudence F. Roberts is an art historian and writer. She holds a B.A. from Sarah Lawrence College and a MALS degree from Reed College, where her graduate thesis focused on C.E.S. Wood and his contributions to Portland’s cultural life at the turn of the 20^th century. She has served as Curator of American Art at the Portland Art Museum and taught art history at Portland Community College, where she also oversaw the Helzer Gallery and the Rock Creek campus’s art collection. She has written on many Oregon artists and on the history of Crow’s Shadow Institute of the Arts, Mission, Oregon.
