John Barry

Dr. John Barry is a professor of urology and a professor of surgery at Oregon Health and Science University. He completed his specialty training under Dr. Clarence Hodges and succeeded him as chairman of urology at OHSU in 1979, a position he held for twenty-nine years. Dr. Barry has been president of the American Board of Urology, the American Urological Association, the American Association of Genitourinary Surgeons, and the Urologic Society for Transplantation and Renal Surgery. He is the author or co-author of more than 300 publications.
