James C. Scott
James C. Scott is a reference librarian with the Oregon Historical Society’s Research Library. Prior to that, he managed the Special Collections and Archives of the Sacramento Public Library. Scott holds a bachelor’s degree in history and political science from Marquette University, a master’s degree in history from Portland State University, a master’s degree in information science from San José State University, and a graduate certificate in archival studies from the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee. He has written articles and other content for OHS, the Public Broadcasting Service, the University of California Press, and American Libraries. A fourth-generation Portlander, Scott and his wife live in Albina.
