Born in Portland Oregon 1949.  Lived in Oregon, California, Florida, Newfoundland Canada, Maine.

High School: Klamath Union H.S.; Limestone H.S. 1967

College:  Pacific University:  B.A. 1971 – History, University of Oregon: M.L.S. 1972.

Career:

  1. Summer 1972 - microfilm project, Washington County Courthouse.

  2.  Fall, 1972 - U.S. Census Crime Survey Portland.
  3. 1972-1974 - Assistant Librarian, Oregon Department of Education.
  4.  1974-2002 - Reference Librarian and Reference Supervisor:  Specialty areas included Oregon state government and history; scanning of photographs, census records and genealogy.  Presentations: at Online Oregon Conference; Oregon Library Association Conference, Pacific Northwest Library Association Conference,Western Conference of State Libraries.  Received training from the U.S. Patent and U.S. Census Departments.  Visitation for Networking and online training (1 week) Library of Congress.
  5. 2002-2013 - Law Librarian Willamette University College of Law.
  6. 2016- Current:  Contents Editor, Beaver Briefs Quarterly, Willamette Valley Genealogical Society.  And Genealogy Desk Volunteer, Salem Public Library.
