Neil Kagan

Neil Kagan earned degrees from the University of Oregon (J.D.), Michigan State University (M.Sc.), and Penn. State University (B.Sc.). He spent his legal career as an advocate for the wild, wildlife, and water quality, appearing before local, state, and federal agencies and courts. His early litigation protected wilderness, rivers, and other natural resources from exploitation; his later litigation protected the Great Lakes from pollution. He represented local, state, and national nonprofits. As an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor, he served as the Director of the Environmental Law Clinic at the University of Michigan Law School.
