Jim Shugrue

Jim Shugrue has published three chapbooks: Floating Verses; Small Things Screaming (a finalist for the Oregon Book Award); and Icewater, as well as Cards and Letters, a book of poetry and images in collaboration with artist Paul Schaap. His poems have been widely published, and he received an Open Voice Award from the West Side Y in New York as well as a fellowship from the Oregon Arts Commission. He was a co-founder and editor of the poetry journal Hubbub from 1983 through 2020.
