Kimberly Moreland
Kimberly Stowers Moreland, MBA, MURP, owner of Moreland Resource Consulting, has over 25 years of public-sector experience in urban, historic, and cultural preservation, community development, and urban planning. She authored Images of America: African Americans of Portland (Arcadia Publishing) and co-authored Building Legacy: BIPOC Construction Trailers in Oregon. She was on the project team that produced Cornerstones of Community: The Buildings of Portland’s African American History, published in 1995. Assisted with the Multiple Property Documentation (MPD) history project to produce African American Resources in Portland, Oregon, from 1851 to 1973, and was one of the lead writers for the successfully approved Black Historic Resources of Oregon Outside Portland,1788-2002.
