Cindy Coe

Cindy Coe, Ed.D., has taught social studies and English language arts in Washington and Oregon for more than 30 years.  Additionally, for the last eight years, Cindy has taught university courses in schools of education to prepare future educators.  Her current interests and passions within the field of education include teaching the 21st century student, brain-based learning, culturally relevant teaching, and making social studies curriculum engaging and relevant to today’s students.  Cindy serves on the board of Oregon Council of Teachers of English, and she volunteers for the Delta Kappa Gamma organization which awards grants and scholarships to current and future teachers.
