Liza J. Schade

Liza J. Schade is a fifth generation Oregonian and has ten years experience as a Public Historian in this state, recently graduating Phi Kappa Phi and the President of Phi Alpha Theta Honor Society, with an MA in History from Portland State University in June 2021.  Prior to graduate school, she worked as a county collections manager and curator, then did public tours and archival work while taking credits. Liza regularly volunteers in cable video production, historic house museums & heritage preservation, living history and cemetery reenactments, and loves to do public presentations. She also serves as Board Secretary of Hillsboro Historical Society, Cedar Mill Historical Society and Harrison Cemetery Association.
