Samantha Gordon

Samantha Gordon (she/they) is an architectural historian at Archaeological Investigations Northwest, Inc., a cultural resources consulting firm in Portland, Oregon.  After earning a BA in history at UC San Diego and serving two terms with AmeriCorps, Samantha came to Portland to earn an MS in Historic Preservation at the University of Oregon.  They have six years of experience documenting the Pacific Northwest’s built environment.  She is passionate about preserving marginalized histories, the recent past, and nontraditional historic resources within the framework of compliance regulation.
