Margarett Waterbury

Margarett Waterbury writes about food, drinks, agriculture, and culture. She is the author of Scotch: A Complete Introduction to Scotland’s Whiskies (Sterling, 2020) and the editor of Distiller magazine. Her work has appeared in Food & Wine, Epicurious, Whetstone Magazine, Whisky Advocate, Distiller, Artisan Spirit, Craft Spirits, various Edible publications, Capital Press, Civil Eats, and many other publications. In 2017 she won the Alan Lodge Young International Drinks Writer of the Year award. A lifelong resident of the Pacific Northwest, Margarett lives in Portland, Oregon.
